January – March:

Tahiti to Cook Islands to Tonga. Satnav really making life easier. Knowing where I was and when I would arrive made it possible to sleep with both eyes shut.

March – April:

Tonga to Norfolk Island. Miss visiting Norfolk Island due to wind change at anchorage. Cut away main anchor to get off lee shore.

April – May:

Norfolk Island to Lord Howe Island. Tired and ill from staph infection.

May:

Lord Howe Island to Moreton Island, Australia. Closed the loop at Moreton Island. I was now a circumnavigator. Had to get home to Brisbane to celebrate.

May 16:

Arrive Brisbane, Australia. Happy, relieved, confused. Sad to leave Acrohc, my home for the last 3 years.
